International Certificate in Nursing Aide
The aim for this programme is to introduce the learner on the requirements of becoming a Nursing Aide in the Healthcare Industry that comprise of clinical services, healthcare-related support services and roles of healthcare professionals in this industry. In addition, learners need to understand that the primary goal of a Nursing Aides is to provide quality patient care, while strongly advocating patient’s individualized needs with empathy and communication skill.

This programme is designed to equip the participant with basic healthcare and home care including the main tasks such as:
- Serve meals to patients
- Take care of patient hygiene (bathing them, cleaning their rooms, groom them etc)
- Record patients’ body stats (pulse, weight, blood pressure etc)
- Administer medications Communicate with patients and their family members
- Take patients for tests and treatment processes
- Accident & Emergency preparedness
- First Aid during emergency situation
- Provider CPR + AED (upon certification under Singapore resuscitation and first aid council) Modules

Entry Qualification:
- Minimum age requirement: Must be 16 years old
- There are no stringent requirements
- N Level or equivalent (Recommended)
- The final decision concerning admission to the programme rests with the Academic Advisory Board
